Dr. Yaseen AlKamas, an immensely qualified business strategy specialist is one of the most prominent figures of the group having contributed over 13 years to the development of the company and the region. He is not only the COO of the Al Badie Group but also holds other key positions at the company like, senior advisor to the President, member of the Group Finance and Group Owners Committee, board member on various group subsidiaries, etc.

Dr. Yaseen has an impressive academic journey which has fuelled his growth at Al Badie Group and also in a research and development company in Iraq where he worked before joining ABG. He graduated from the University Of Manchester, UK in 1987 in Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering and in 1995 he acquired a Master’s Degree in Fluid Mechanics from the University of Technology. He followed it with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2003 from the University of Baghdad. Furthermore, Dr. AlKamas undertook a diploma course in Strategic Studies in 2004 from N.D. University, Washington DC to sharpen his skills in business strategy. After gaining nine years of experience in the UAE’s investment sector by working at the Al Badie Group, Dr. Yaseen achieved the CFA charterholder title in 2014.

Dr. Yaseen’s Alkamas is still in the pursuit of adding more feathers to both his academic as well as professional life.
