Jaypee Palace Hotel’s celebratory signature restaurant Paatra has organized a Hyderabadi food festival named “Unified Flavors of Hyderabad’’ starting from Friday, 19th April till 5Th May 2019. This Hyderabadi festival is a culinary journey where one gets acquainted with the richness of some of the most evocative Hyderabadi dishes.
The Hyderabadi cuisine draws its flavor from the two rich legacies - the Deccani cuisine of Nizams with its delectable Biryanis, Haleem and kebabs, and the spicy Andhra style of food laced with mustard, garlic, and chilies, eaten with doles of chutney and pickle. The dishes are slightly sour, hot and richly endowed with nuts and assorted spices and cooked in “Desi ghee”.
The festival’s menu promises to bring the exclusive flavors of extravagant Hyderabadi cuisine to your table. The Executive Chef Mr. Ajay Mathur along with his team have worked with handpicked spices to retain the authenticity of the dishes. Some of the specialties that are likely to draw the gourmet's attention are Pathar Ka Gosht, Darbari Murg Handi, Shikhampuri Kebab, Soya ki Lukhmi Kebab, and Hyderabadi Tawa Machhi.
Vice President Operations, Mr. Hari Sukumar remarks, “We have tried to bring a “Nawabi” touch to the restaurant’s ambiance and have curated special Hyderabadi delicacies for our guests. The hotel has recreated an environment that fits the city of Hyderabad with touches of forts, jharokhas, pearl curtains and a beautiful stage set up with live ghazal singing giving it a royal feel”.
