Highfield RFC, Woodleigh Park, Ireland – March 30, 2022: Cork Tag Rugby, one of Ireland’s largest platforms to experience the best sporting events, is now accepting registration for the much-awaited Highfield RFC Spring Tag Rugby 2022. The Thursday leagues will begin April 7 and run for six weeks till May 12, 2022. Sporting enthusiasts who are looking for unique experiences this spring can participate in the event to have the perfect dose of fun, socializing, and sun.

Highfield RFC is one of the largest and most happening tag rugby venues in Ireland that host a number of sporting events from April to August. The venue has three full-size pitches, ample parking, and spacious clubhouse with outdoor and indoor seating that allows teams to socialise during pre- and post-matches. BBQ and clubhouse games can also be organized to accentuate the spirit of the games. An ideal setting and a relaxed vibe make Highfield the perfect place to meet with friends, socialise, and play social tag rugby.

The chief spokesperson of Cork Tag Rugby, Mr. XXX, today said, “Tag rugby is a perfect sport for anyone looking to learn a new skill irrespective of fitness level.” He further added, “Our focus is on fun, fitness, and friendships amongst all teams by providing an environment where tag rugby can be played in a social and safe environment for all to enjoy.”

The upcoming Spring Tag Rugby League is a 6-week event beginning April 7 and will run every Thursday until May 12. Up to 40 teams participate in the event each night to play tag rugby and socialize with friends. The event will offer an unmatched experience for all taggers who are looking to indulge into a one-of-a-kind sports activity amid a fun and relaxing environment. “Tag rugby is a social sport, facilitating individuals throughout Cork to come together and develop long-lasting relationships,” said Mr. XXX.

The Spring League encourages an ambience of fair play, inclusivity and respect – where teams of all abilities are welcomed. Tag rugby is easy to learn and does not require prior experience, reported Cork Tag Rugby. However, they also provide a “Learn To Play Tag Rugby” programme to coach new players. The programme is held at specific times of the year, though it is not a necessity to register for the sporting event, says the chief spokesperson.

As reported by the Tag Rugby sporting event company, one has to sign up for the leagues to participate in Spring Tag Rugby League starting April 7. The cost of registration is only €430 per team. The registration process is simple and straightforward. One can register only as a “team” to participate in the Spring Thursday League. The participating team will require to provide a Team Name, Player Name, Email id, Telephone Number, and whether the payment will be in full or as an initial deposit. Only credit or debit card is accepted at the time of registration.

“As Spring is in the air and we are finally getting back to the new normal after the global pandemic, it is time to head back on grass and enjoy fun-filled and adrenaline-gushing moments on our Spring Leagues in Highfield RFC. Registration is now open but due to high demand, spots are getting booked quickly. Just a few team spots are available for the Thursday Night Leagues at Highfield RFC. So, you need to hurry if you want to have your team on the ground,” says Mr. XXX.

Coming to experiences that one can expect from the Spring sporting league, it is a social sport that involves fitness, friendship and fun- reports Cork Tag Rugby. The spirit and environment of the game promotes the aspect of socializing among players and teams. At the end of matches, special team bonding sessions are held in the clubhouse bar that allow one to have a fun and enjoyable time meeting new people. Furthermore, weekend events and one-day blitzes are always round-the-corner throughout the League.

There are three floodlit all weather pitches at Highfield RFC that make it an ideal setting for tag rugby leagues, especially during the summer and spring. The Spring League is extremely popular and has limited capacity, so interested teams should sign up at the earliest to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience. Participants can look forward to an unparalleled experience in a relaxed and fun atmosphere both on and off the pitch.

Participating in the Spring Highfield RFC is an ideal opportunity for those who want to learn a new sport, meet new people, and get fit. All league fixtures and results will be uploaded on the official website of Cork Tag Rugby. Before participating in the event, one can even join the ongoing “Learn to Play Tag Rugby” programme. It is a 5-week programme that will be held till April 11, 2022, with fun sessions that give you the perfect opportunity to try the game of tag rugby.

Cork Tag Industry also hosts other popular sporting events like the Irish tag Rugby and the Munster Tag Rugby. To register for the upcoming Spring event, visit https://corktagrugby.ie/register/.
