On Tuesday, September 5th you can hula hoop your way to helping victims of Hurricane Harvey that hit hard in Houston, TX earlier this week. Heading up the class and fundraiser is Certified FXP Hoop Fitness Instructor and America's Fit Queen 2017, Cori Magnotta. Mrs. Magnotta said "I couldn't stand just sitting around and watching the disastrous images on the news, I had to take action! I started to think about how I could raise money and then I came up with 'Hoop for Houston!' Cori Magnotta has been teaching hoop fitness at Inner Circle in Portland, CT for nearly 2 years with great success. Her classes have been featured on NBC CT, Fox 61 and WTNH. All proceeds from 'Hoop for Houston' will be donated to the American Red Cross and receipts for tax deduction purposes will be available upon request. The suggested donation for the class is $5 and will take place at Inner Circle 143 Marlborough St, Portland, CT. Class begins at 7:00 PM and hoops will be provided.
