With more companies going digital, Copywriting Content Predicts Further Growth in Content Marketing for the Upcoming Year

12-2-2015 - Chicago)With content marketing on the rise, an increasing amount of companies are scrambling to get in on the action and present themselvesin a better light on the internet. According to a 2015 PEW report, more than 2/3rds of Americans own a smart phone, which means that millions are using their data connections to access information on the web about companies and products.

This is why Copywriting Content thinks that digital marketing will continue to rise, even for small to medium businesses. According to the Director of Copywriting Content, Asad Kausar, “Small to medium businesses simply see more value in content marketing because it’s a relatively low cost way to improve your brand compared to spending thousands of dollars on just one ad that’s published for one day”.

According to a 2015 BIA/Kelsey prediction, US mobile ad spending on location-targeted ad placement will increase by at least 50% to almost $6.7 billion. This goes to show the power of digital content and how important it has become in the sphere of marketing a business. With search engine marketing taking up around 47% of online spending in 2015, this percentage is only going to increase in 2016.

The shelf life and efficacy of digital marketing is what gets most firms to either create separate departments to handle the task or hire reliable and trustworthy companies to outsource their digital marketing. With the creation of a separate department, companies may have to spend more than required. However, when outsourcing content marketing, they have the option of spending exactly what they want to improve their presence on the web.

According to Mr. Kausar, “We’re seeing a major shift in the marketing paradigm because older methods are being phased out to what’s more relevant and digital in today’s day and age. Corporations are realizing the importance of having a strong presence on the web and strengthening their brand online.”
With 9 out of 10 people researching a product on the internet before buying it, spending marketing dollars for better content and search engine visibility makes sense. As long as companies are using tried and tested methods to improve their online presence, they really have nothing to lose as far as content marketing is concerned.
