Banasthali Vidyapith, Jaipur, was founded in 1935 and was designated as a deemed university in 1983. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded Banasthali Vidyapith an 'A++' Grade (Five-star Rating) in 2020. It is the world's only fully residential women's university, offering courses at the secondary, senior secondary, undergraduate, and postgraduate degree levels.
Mathematics, Science, Management, Commerce, Arts, Engineering, Aviation, Education, Design, Law, and Journalism are among the undergraduate courses offered by the university. It also provides UG, PG, and Ph.D. programmes in Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Law, Education, Commerce, and Management.

The campus has a world-class infrastructure, including 25 academic buildings, 50 student hostels, and over 800 staff quarters. Vidyapith has its flying club and licensed airstrip, as well as a fleet of aircraft and an Aviation School that is well recognised and approved. Banasthali is India's only university with its flying club. Vidyapith has its FM radio station, a 100-bed hospital, a horse-riding facility, and excellent sports facilities, in addition to world-class infrastructure.
