Teach Anti Bullying, Inc., with the help of a longtime supporter of the organization, Mr. Nick Stathes of Stevenson Ranch, California, have set forth to honor an individual or organization that has impacted their community in an influential way. Teach Anti Bullying, Inc. is searching to find their second recipient of the Carmela G. Cerullo Anti Bullying Leadership Award to the person(s) who value and understand the importance of bringing children and communities together in new and innovative ways by being proactive in preventing vulnerable situations children often get placed in. Carmela G. Cerullo, who passed in December 2014, is the mother of the organization's founder and Executive Director, Dr. Claudio V. Cerullo. This Leadership Award will continue to embrace the love and courage she portrayed and shared with those around her.

The goal is to not only teach anti bullying but to educate children, parents and administrators on the affects of bullying and how to prevent and report bullying or situations of violence.

The Criteria: A two-paged typed DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS INDIVIDUAL has helped to stop bullying or raise the level of awareness in his or her school community. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE CARMELA G. CERULLO ANTI BULLYING COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD? Also include 3 or more letters of support from individuals other than yourself who has worked with the individual being nominated. These letters are often written by a family member of the person being bullied and colleagues. Letters of support should include in depth description on what this person has done to help stop bullying and to raise awareness. Nominations are currently being accepted. I will begin to start writing my fifth anti bullying book next week. I will be directing it for parents when having to deal with bullying. I want to target children in Pre K- 8th grade. We have to get to children as early as 3-years-old.
