''There were the accidents that almost happened, until there was a correction of the attempted scam. Whistle blowers helped remove medicines, anesthetics of which 50,000 Americans had died, they prevented corruption in the police also'', affirms Devine.

Devine has noticed that at this moment, the whistle blowers in USA fought against the illegal lockup of the orphans who is fleeing from domestic violence and harassment.

American lawyer said that they were fighting against National treatment agency that pays hundreds of thousands of dollars to drug traffickers.

Devine, who represented more than 6000 whistle blowers, among others, police inspector Frank Serpico who exposed corruption in the New York City Police, indicated that the whistle blowers were the most powerful weapon "because nothing is more powerful than the truth".

Speaking about the law on whistle blowers in Serbia, he affirmed that this law allowed citizens to defend themselves and to defend Serbia from institutional corruption.

''The majority of whistle blowers deal with workplace problems, and this is the law for every citizen who wants to rebel against abuse of power and judges must apply this law. If this happens, Serbia will become a global standard for freedom of speech'', said Devine.

He pointed out that the Serbian law protected judges and that they had to pass training.
''All the judges adjudicating in these cases are certified to have passed the course on freedom of speech'', added Devine.

Devine is the one of the world's biggest defender of whistle blowers. He transmits his experiences to the representatives of the judiciary in Serbia.

Law on the Protection of Whistle blowers put into effect in June 2015 and Serbia is only the fifth country in Europe with that regulation. This is, according to many, one of the strongest mechanisms in the fight against corruption.
