Over the last 5 years Mike Berry, The English Hog Roasts owner has been delighting both private and corporate events with their catering.

Mike and his team are firm believers in “The Best of British” ethos. All the ingredients used are sourced locally from around the Essex and Hertfordshire area. The lamb and pork are free range and there is even an option to provide organic meats too if guest require. “We have been working with a small number of local suppliers since we started. They understand that we won’t compromise on quality.

Although The English Hog Roast Company mainly caters for private functions and corporate events in and around Essex, North London and Hertfordshire they also cover a wider demographic area if there is sufficient demand

Mike is constantly testing new ideas and recipes to add a novel twist to this age long favourite. “We have also recently introduced and all American hogroast which has become an extremely popular option for our guests. We have developed our own American style barbecue sauces, following a secret recipe that contains Budweiser beer. Combine this with our fresh baker’s baps and our smoked Chipotle Cheese sauce it provides a delicious combination our guest love

Not only does The English Hog Roast Company cater to private clients they are also building up an ever increasing following of blue-chip corporate clients including Tesco, Swallow Hotels, The National Trust, Best Western Hotels, The Laura Ashley Hotel, The BBC and The University of Cambridge “We are finding that a lot of companies now are looking to hire a different kind of catering for their corporate events too. We have been really lucky to have worked with some really huge household brands recently over the last few months.”

Mike isn’t resting on his laurels by any means. “We have some really exciting plans in the pipeline for this year and 2016 to take our business to a whole new level. All I can say is – watch this space.”
