Designed by Harold England and opened in 1970, the 6,406-yard Calvert City Country Club golf course is a par 72. Hank Kerfoot, President of Modern Turf, Inc., said, “Western Kentucky weather is humid and can be extreme during any of the four seasons. In addition to its beauty, the ultradwarf Bermudagrass turf is hearty, and able to withstand the elements far better than its bentgrass predecessor.
