Chetu, Inc., a leading global software development solutions provider, is proud to announce that they have raised and donated $11,620 for Harvey Disaster Relief efforts through the American Red Cross.

Harvey was the first major hurricane to make landfall in recent US history. In a span of four days, Houston, TX and parts of Louisiana received more than 40 inches of rain causing destructive flooding. Though the storm has passed, thousands of people are facing shortages of shelter, electricity, food, clean drinking water, and medical supplies as they attempt to rebuild their lives.

"We're proud that we have come together in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey and have been able to hopefully make a difference in the lives of the victims moving forward. We know that our contribution is only a small part of the larger efforts to help people whose lives are forever changed," stated Atal Bansal, CEO of Chetu, Inc. To help those in need, Chetu created a CrowdRise account with the American Red Cross and requested all members of the Chetu family to make valuable contributions to the cause. Chetu employees have raised $1,620. In addition, the company gave a $10,000 charitable donation to supplement the CrowdRise account.

Chetu has always been an active participant in social causes through various corporate social responsibility activities. The company has made previous contributions for flood and earthquake victims, medical aid for children suffering from cancer, as well as various orphanages and schools.
