The Jump Ahead annual scholarship provides financial assistance with tuition and books to students who have been accepted, and are enrolling or currently enrolled in an undergraduate higher education program.

The scholarship will not be determined by the student’s financial need. Only candidates who meet the qualifications are eligible.

[b]Qualifications:[/b]

- Candidate must be a graduate of a US high school or has acquired their GED at the time of application; or must be enrolled as a full-time college student at the undergraduate level with a minimum GPA of 2.5 at the time of application. They must attach their record and transcripts along with the application form.
- Candidate must be currently participating or enrolled to participate in a cheerleading, gymnastics or any similar athletic program at a university or college in the United States.

- A typed essay addressing the personal and social impact of physical activity or involvement in cheerleading, gymnastics and/or physical education
- An official or unofficial copy of their most recent transcript (high school or college)
- A letter of recommendation from a coach, teacher or another adult who is NOT an immediate relative.

All application materials must be received by trampolines.com on or before February 1, 2016.

[b]Selection Process[/b]

The application materials will be reviewed and evaluated by the committee in terms of eligibility and completeness. Afterwards, the winner will be chosen at random. Applicants will be notified of the decision by March 1, 2016.

A $1,000 non-renewable scholarship payable for tuition will be awarded to the chosen applicant. Upon notification of the winner and in accordance with the scholarship guidelines, payment will be given to the winner’s school of enrollment.
