Chandlee Holdings was initially chosen as a finalist in the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s PACESETTER AWARDS for 2018. This nomination was influenced by the award Chandlee and Sons Construction received from INC Magazine in 2017.
INC Magazine’s INC 5000 Award is presented annually to the Fastest Growing Companies in the United States - Chandlee and Sons Construction ranked 561 out of 5000 nationwide. And as one of the fastest growing general contracting firms, Chandlee and Sons ranked 25 in the State of Georgia and second in the City of Atlanta!
The PACESETTER AWARD is presented to the fastest growing private companies. Seth Chandlee received notification on March 21, 2018 that his company, Chandlee Holdings, was nominated by this highly respected Atlanta business news source. Seth is a Founding Partner of Chandlee and Sons Construction and Chief Executive Officer of Chandlee Holdings. To pursue the award, the financial information from each company under the Chandlee Holdings umbrella were submitted. These companies are Chandlee and Sons Construction, Chandlee Electric, Chandlee Rental and Chandlee Land.
On April 26, Seth Chandlee and Todd McDougald, Chief Financial Officer for Chandlee Holdings, received the award at the 23rd PACESETTER AWARDS breakfast held in the Georgia Aquarium at 225 Baker Street in northwest Atlanta. The Atlanta Business Chronicle’s award ranked Chandlee Holdings 26 out of the top 100 in the State of Georgia.
Seth commented after the awards breakfast, “One hundred of the best of the best!Todd McDougald and myself had the privileged opportunity to accept this award on behalf of our companies and team members who made such growth possible for Chandlee Holdings. We tossed the financial information from each company into the hat and ended up with a designation of #26 Pacesetter in the State among all the industry categories and business sectors! There were mostly tech firms on the list and Chandlee and Sons Construction was one of only two general contractors in attendance.”
This award arriving on the heels of the INC 5000 award was tremendous news to Seth and the employees of all the Chandlee brand companies. Part of the growth is attributed to Chandlee Electric that recently doubled its staff, equipment and projects with the merger of LE Electric into Chandlee Electric with new Chief Operating Officer, Steve LaFlamme.
The City of Alpharetta, Georgia recognized Chandlee and Sons Construction Company at their annual Business Awards a month earlier in March. The award recognizes Businesses of Excellence located in Alpharetta, Georgia that are not only industry leaders, but have also won an award or special distinction in the previous year from a local or national organization.
