Chadd Boulter was born in Jupiter, Florida in the United States where outdoor sports are practiced during all months of the year, because of tropical and subtropical weather zones which create an average year round temperature of 72 degrees. Barely out of diapers, Boulter steps on his first skateboard at age 4, and in many ways never gets off. Boulter spent his childhood practicing skateboarding, finally winning his first competition at age 13. Heartened upon becoming a skateboard threat, Boulter redoubled his efforts at perfection, reaching it upon turning professional at age 18.

Chadd Boulter practiced tricks and maneuvers on the skateboard at every opportunity, and during a family vacation to Vail, Colorado Boulter experienced snowboarding for the first time. Boulter found that his skateboard skills were easily transferable to this new way moving across a surface, and took up snowboarding as enthusiastically as he had pursued skateboarding. With practice and diligence, Boulter turned snowboarding professional at age 21.

As sometimes happens, Chadd Boulter, a native of Jupiter, Florida in the United States, has acclimated with alacrity to the snowy climes of Colorado, thousands of miles and a weather eternity away from the 72 degree averages of his native state. A passion for board riding as a child became the path to dual professional status in both snowboarding and skateboarding, with the accompanying popularity of these sports in film and on video. Boulter attained sponsorships from national brands like Puma, Nitro and Red Bull, and made numerous videos showcasing his abilities in both sports.

Having achieved mastery of his chosen sports, Chadd Boulter remains in constant training to keep his skills and physical condition sharp. When in Colorado, Boulter takes advantage of the thousands of hiking trails across the mountains where he snowboards in winter, indulging in the rigors of long distance hiking and climbing. Boulter has also discovered whitewater rafting, another extreme sport which appeals to his sense of adventure and daring as a skateboarding and snowboarding pro, and seeks out venues which offer Class III rapids. When he is in his native state of Florida, Boulter now surfs off the thousands of miles of coastline, finding his footing again in a boarding sport.
