Being highly skilled, talented, and flexible, Jessica Kahal has successfully managed to be among the rare modern players on the list of America’s best flute players. Right from jazz, pop, chamber and orchestral to classical solo, she has a great expertise in a variety of genres.
Considering the most special memories of her musical journey so far, Jessica performed at the Kennedy Center as part of a special invitation, and at the renowned Armstrong Theater with her high school Orchestra. Apart from this, she had a fond memory of performing with her high school choir in a candlelight memorial for the September 11th attacks. The combined choirs sang “America the Beautiful” and “This Is My Country”, while Jessica chose “Danny Boy” for her solo flute performance. Many students spoke about their recollections of the Sept. 11th attacks that had happened a year ago. Their performance left everyone who attended the event teary-eyed.
Pertaining to her journey in the music world, it all started when she was in high school. The opportunities that she got during her high school days gave her the exposure that she needed the most to showcase her talent.
Overall, Jessica Kahal became a household name at a young age with her frequent radio and television appearances, & promotion of the arts as well as her passionate work in the field of music education.
