Being one of America’s top flutists, Jessica Ashley Kahal is best known for her charismatic performance style and the ability to play in a variety of music genres. She continues to leap into the international orchestral as well as solo music scene.

She has also performed at the Armstrong Theater as part of her high school Orchestra. The orchestra program included the Chamber Orchestra and the Symphonic Orchestra. The program includes the Theme from Forrest Gump, Schumann’s Symphony No. 1, Movement IV, and the Mozart, Flute Concerto in D Major, Movement I. Jessica was highly lauded for doing a great job in both these roles.

There were many wonderful performances by other groups from different parts of the country. One of them was the Men’s Doo Wop Group which is still pictured singing in front of NBC Studios in New York City. She considers it as one of the greatest opportunities during her school days.

Being an American flute artist, her effortless technique and sensitive interpretation of the flute have won her worldwide recognition. Jessica Ashley Kahal has become a household name at a very young age, all thanks to extensive international touring, and frequent radio and television appearances.

Jessica Ashley Kahal could still recall a performance that is so close to her heart. She performed in a candlelight memorial for the September 11th terrorist attacks in the school’s amphitheater. While the combined choirs sang “This Is My Country” and “America the Beautiful” on this emotion-charged date, Kahal chose to perform on her favorite “Danny Boy” for her solo flute performance.
