Carlo Trinchero is the co-founder and head winemaker at Taken Wine Company. Having grown up in a family with a long history in the winemaking industry, it was only natural for Trinchero to launch his own wine company. After working for several years in the alcohol industry, he co-founded Taken Wine Company with a friend in 2010. In the last six years, his company has experienced tremendous growth and success as his wines have made it to the market and has become one of the popular brands for many wine drinkers in California and around the world.

Carlo Trinchero was born and raised in St. Helena, the highly popular wine region in California. He attended St. Helena High School and Santa Rosa Junior College before graduating from Sacramento State. He played football right through school and became a semi-professional football player before entering the wine industry. As a student-athlete, he learned time and skill management and the importance of working as a team. After working for several years in the alcohol industry he decided it was time to launch his own company and together with a friend he launched Taken Wine Company.

For Trinchero, having grown up in St. Helena winemaking has held a special place in his heart. He grew up watching his family run the Trinchero Family Estates and eventually worked his way up the executive ladder to become the Import Director and the Director of the Elite Collection at Trinchero Family Estates. Carlo Trinchero is a promising young entrepreneur who also founded En Noir, William Painter, and Suja Juice. As a businessman, he is constantly on the lookout for new business ventures and how he can expand his business.

Trinchero has traveled around the world and has incorporated several winemaking techniques and tastes to produce a line of unique tasting wine in his wine company. Working as the Merchandiser for Youngs Market Company helped him build essential marketing skills which he has implemented in his own company. He started as a hardworking student-athlete and became a semi-professional football player, and moved from there and worked his way up to establishing his own wine company. He is a talented businessman who is constantly seeking ways to grow his business and make it one of the leading wineries in the area.
