Brake deceleration: when there is situation in front and need you to need the brake, please immediately lose the accelerator, at this moment the gear won’t be in neutral. It can be adjusted in this way: set up the first or second gear, loose clutch slowly, when the wheel begins to run, your left hand will release the clutch to a certain degree, general it is around one third of that part and the most comfortable position, you can have a try. Of course, you may feel that doesn’t fit you, so you can also adjust it according to your own favor. Adjusting nut is at two places: the end of left clutch line and right side of the motorcycle, the same as the brakes of the bike. Turning it in will release the clutch, while turning it out will tight the clutch. If you pull off the clutch, and put your feet against the rear wheel to make it not to turn and then loose the wheel, and find that the wheel is still turning, that means the clutch is not separated completely, then you can tight the clutch appropriately.

When the motorcycle reach above 50 kph, then the only thing you will hear is the voice of the tire. After the run-in time, because the clearance between bearings becomes bigger, there will be noise at the cylinder head, which is so called “cylinder head noise”. Although this noise cannot be removed, it will not affect your usage, YBR125 is quite durable. Mixing ratio regulation: the manufacturer will usually make the gas mixture thin just in order to make the motorcycle fuel-efficient. Someone does not know what the mixture is. Mixture is mixed with gas and air when the motorcycle is running. When the motorcycle is in idle or low speed situation, the rotating speed is low, so it needs a strong mixture. When the motorcycle is in medium and high speed, with a large inertia, mixture is relatively thin. The mixture at medium or high speed is controlled by carburetor, so you don’t need to open the carburetor to adjust it, which is already adjusted by the factory.
So how to adjust the mixture: first, find the mixture screw, it is right at the bottom of the carburetor, set the motorcycle up, look up from the base of the motorcycle at the right side, you will see a copper screws. In order not to mess, you can make a mark with a marker. Find a short screwdriver, gently twist the screw to the end, remember the number of turns as a reference. After twisting it to the end, and then back 2.5 to 3 turns, and the number of turns here means 360 degrees, not 180 degrees. After the screw is twisted, the mixture will become thinner, while it is twisted out, the mixture will become thicker. You can also do fine-tuning according to the combustion status of the spark plug.

Check the spark plug: When a new motorcycle runs over 1000 kilometers, you can check the spark plug. Remove the high pressure cap first, just in case to damage the spark plug hole and you can use an oil pen to make an alignment mark in the cylinder head and spark plugs. Put the small end of spark plug socket on the plug, unscrew the spark plug counterclockwise with a screwdriver. Best combustion status of spark plug is: ceramics on the top end of the spark plug become brown red. White means thin, while dark means thick. If it is white, turns back the mixture screw around a half circle, if it is dark, then turn in a half circle. Repeating this way several times, gradually you will find the location of brown red status of the spark plug.
The installation of a new spark plug: twist the spark plug tight enough till fixed, and then screw it with a spark plug socket around a quarter to a half circle.
