A woman traveling to the South Pole by riding motorcycle

A British woman, 40 years old, named Stephanie jevons, was the owner of a motorcycle school before. After her son gets married, she decided to travel around the world on her motorcycle.

 
A British woman, 40 years old, named Stephanie jevons, was the owner of a motorcycle school before. After her son gets married, she decided to travel around the world on her motorcycle. Since last year, she shut down her motorcycle school and bought a new Honda motorcycle to start her journey.


When she finally went ashore with her motorcycle, Stephanie felt relieved and can’t help but cry. In such a special way of traveling here, she would of course take a picture here.

When Stephanie arrived at the South Pole, her son had just become a father. So, Stephanie is already a grandma on her 40 years old.


Stephanie was cycling on the world famous Route 40 in Argentina.

In Indonesia, she made friends with the local motorcycle accessories. The Ranger generously let her ride on his police motorcycle for a while.


Actually before landed the South Pole, she had already been to many places in the world, such as India, Malaysia, Australia, Argentina and so on. This is the picture when she passes by Malaysia and rides her motorcycle near with an elephant.


This is a beach in north Wales, Stephanie is exercising riding. To travel all over the world, she must be ready for it.

Back to UK, Stephanie and her motorcycle has become the focus of the media.

Stephanie is a motorcycle cycling enthusiasts, not only she can ride a motorcycle, but also she is familiar with motorcycle maintenance. To change the motorcycle wheels is an easy task for her.

Stephanie rode a motorcycle forward to Antarctica Paradise Island, but to get reach the Paradise Island, she still need to take a boat over the sea. She get on a ship Spirit from Sydney with her motorcycle, the Antarctic snow wrapped her and her motorcycle.

At the destination, the crew sends her motorcycle with a rubber boat to the land. Because the motorcycle is very heavy, the rubber boat draws deep, but they still went ashore smoothly.

So far, she has completed 30000 miles, around 48000 km. She has been to India, Malaysia, Australia, Britain, Argentina and many other countries. But her goal is far more than that, she wants to become the first people in UK to travel around seven continents on a motorcycle. This year, she completed the most difficult goal: challenge Antarctica, and now she decided to ride all the way from Antarctica to North America. So in this year on February 14, she came to the South Pole by riding a motorcycle and became the first British of arrived at Antarctica by riding a motorcycle.

During the journey, she had been carefully recorded every place, in order not to over load, also to save money, she only carry necessity. She set a budget for herself to only spent 15 pounds a day on average.
