A recent survey showing that 61% of Florida’s voters would vote for Amendment 2 in forthcoming November ballot has been greeted with “delight” by Cannabliss, the Florida based medical and recreational marijuana products distributor.

Amendment 2, when passed, will legalize medical marijuana products and derivatives for patients with debilitating medical conditions including those with cancer, epilepsy, HIV/AIDS, post-traumatic stress disorder, Crohn’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or other debilitating medical conditions.

“This poll is highly-encouraging as it confirms that the electorate’s sentiment towards the issue hasn’t waned and that voters haven’t grown weary of the campaign especially when victory so tantalizingly close,” said Brad Flint, marketing spokesperson for Cannabliss.

While a motion to legalize the adult use of recreational marijuana in the state of Florida failed to make the 2016 ballot, there is a groundswell of activity that aims to bring the issue to the electorate once again in 2018. For now, however, the focus is on the medical marijuana bid and the state appears to be well on the way to joining the likes of Colorado and New York in providing alternative methods of relief to those afflicted by illness.
