White water rafting in Rishikesh is one of the best experience one can have. Rishikesh rafting route can be segregated in 4 stretches
Brahmpuri to Ram jhula / Nim Beach: This is the basic stretch and has a length of 9 Kms approx. This stretch mostly has grade II types of rapids.
Shivpuri to Ram jhula / Nim Beach: The most favorite stretch has a length of approx. 15 Kms.This one mostly has Grade III types of rapids and is the preferred rafting route among most of the tourists.
Marine to Ram jhula / Nim Beach: This stretch is one of the most thrilling stretches available. It is around 25 Kms long and has mostly Grade IV rapids. This stretch closes down during early June due to heavy water.
Kaudiyala to Ram jhula / Nim Beach: This is the most advanced stretch available and is not recommended for inexperienced people. It has around Grade V rapids and is 35 Kms long. The stretch closes down by mid-May.
