Everest Base Camp is most popular and favorite of many adventurers and travelers this world’s highest and number one peaks stand at 8,848 m / 29,028 ft high, where every trekker dream to be on the foot of this giant mountain at base camp which is above 5,365 m high / 15,000 ft high, where you will standing below tumbling Khumbu Ice Falls and glaciers.
During peak mountaineering season the place will be crowded with all colors of tents of Everest expeditions, where one view tips of Mt. Everest sandwiched between Lo-La and Lhotse including Mt. Nuptse.
The best views of Everest Base Camp is from high Kalapathar, a rocky hill top which is about two hours climb from the lodge at Gorakshep, a steep climb leads you at 5,545 m high with a breath-taking panorama of snow capped peaks with Mt. Everest at the closest within stone throw distance.
Gokyo Lake Valley is least trekked area but with commanding views above Namche Bazaar where route to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo separates, walking into serene and undisturbed areas, where walk climbs and follows Dudh Kosi river right up to its source at Ngozumba glacier around Gokyo valley with incredible views of high snow capped peaks and adding much heights a climb on top Gokyo Ri above 5,357 m high offers sensational panorama of world’s highest four 8,000 meters mountains with 6th Mt. Cho-Oyu, 1st Mt. Everest, 4th Mt. Lhotse and the 5th Mt. Makalu towards east.
