Does it hurt?
All techniques are designed to be gentle procedures with minimal discomfort. The degree of discomfort will depend on several factors, such as if you opt for anesthetics, location of the treatment, and your pain threshold. Microblading on average is rated a 3-4 out of 10. Ombre Brows and Combination Brows are rated a 1-2 out of 10. Lip Blush is rated a 4-5 out of 10. Numbing cream is applied prior to implantation of pigment and is left on the skin 15-30 minutes depending on the location of treatment. Once anesthetic has been set, we begin the procedure and create an outline of the shape. Once the outline is complete, a numbing gel is applied to the area which absorbs into the skin within a few seconds. Once the gel has absorbed, you will have little to no pain.
