Deputy Sheriff Kevin Kennison Reckless Endagers Local Locksmith

The Broward County Sheriff's Office sent Deputy Sheriff Kevin Kennison to enforce a break order on a default civil judgment. He instructed the locksmith to break in in under 4 minutes.

Deputy Sheriff Kevin Kennison went to enforce a default civil judgment. Nobody knows if he knew the facts surrounding this civil judgment from Ohio. First off, the civil judgment had never been formally served to the occupant. While usually a break order is a last resort, this default judgment was less than a year old. The person enforcing the default judgment paid $26,000 to enforce an order as a form of legal harassment against a single mother with no assets.
Kennison approached the property manager, who lived next door to the occupant. She asked the sheriff to allow her to contact the occupant and he refused. Kennison had to know the occupant had a permit to have a firearm. The occupant was in the restroom with headphones in. The sheriff was reckless and endangered the locksmith. Had the occupant come out and seen the unfamiliar locksmith and shot him, there's no jury that would hold her accountable based on the circumstances.
This could have been the end of the wrongdoing, but it continued. Kennison brazenly and on video denied the occupant the right to call an attorney. He took her phone and said "Don't text anyone." The officer with him also stated on camera that she witnessed the sheriff's deputy refuse the occupant the right to contact an attorney.
Kennison took a handheld scanner belonging to the Nielsen Panel. The occupant had it because she was involved in a panel where she was to scan her weekly grocery purchases. The property states on the side of it "Propert of Nielsen Panel". The levy order didn't include this kind f equipment, but Kennison took it in anger. Additionally, Kennison took the modem and cut off the internet to the entire building, while refusing to look at the bill in the property manager's name.
Kennison's behavior is and as reckless and he behaved more like a bully with a gun than an officer of the law. As citizens, it's our duty to stop this behavior by our law enforcement officials. It's not right and it must stop.
