Born in Pali, Rajasthan, BJP Minister Surendra Goyal is an Indian Politician. He began his political career in 1980 but was defeated. His two next elections were from the BJP party in 1985 and 1990, respectively. Although he couldn't make himself win in the election of 1985 yet 1990 proved successful for his career. Before establishing his foot in the political industry, Surendra Goyal married Sh Jamuna Devi on July 1, 1972. Together they had four children - two sons and two daughters. Surendra Goyal's Career

Rajasthan Assembly Elections, 2018

During the Rajasthan assembly elections of 2018, Surendra Goyal resigned from the post after his name didn't appear in the upcoming candidate's list. Surendra Goyal represented the Jaitaran constituency for the public health engineering and groundwater minister. After the election, he gave his two-line resignation letter to Vasundhara Raje, the chief minister, and Madan Lal Saini, the state president of the party.

According to the first list of candidates released by the party, Avinash Gehlot replaced Surendra Goyal for his water resources seat in Pali District. Just within a month, the resignation of Surendra Goyal came as a shock to many. As he was quite unhappy with the party list, he decided to resign from the party.


Surendra Goyal Submits His Resignation Letter!

The resignation letter was given one day after the party announced the results. The first list had a total of 131 candidates that were scheduled for the December 7 assembly polls. The results were such that it retained 85 old faces. Furthermore, around 26 MLAs were dropped from their seats. Additionally, 25 new faces were added as the results displayed.

Candidates As Per The New List!

The party retained a few faces such as Rajendra Rathore, Gulab Chand Kataria, Srichand Kriplani, Kiran Maheshwari Anita Bhadel, Vasudev Devnani, Ajay Singh, Krishnendra Kaur, Gajendra Singh, and Prabhu Lal Saini. In contrast, Surendra Goyal and Tribal Affairs Minister Nandlal Meena were dropped from their respective seats.

Additionally, Amra Ram, who has the Revenue portfolio, Art and Culture minister Krishnendra Kaur, Primary and Secondary Education minister Vasudev Devnani, Women and Child Development minister Anita Bhadel and state minister for Gaupalan Otaram Devasi were also retained.

Rajasthan leader Surendra Goyal didn't sigh, whereas Kuldeep Dhankhar, who was dropped from the seat, expressed his dissatisfaction over the party results.
