Hypnosis expert Cindy Locher is making the flight to Mexico in October, 2012 to share her expertise in medical hypnosis with an esteemed international audience of physicians and health care professionals at the International Congress on Hypnosis. The conference will travel to three cities: Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey. Mexico is a considerable jump from Cindy’s home in Minnesota, but she’s anxious to share her knowledge. “My daughter want me to bring back a Mexican pyramid, but she’ll have to settle for whatever will fit in my suitcase,” smiles Cindy.

Hypnosis and mind/body medicine professionals from around the world are gathering at the international conference during October. The Congress is “a unique opportunity to have more international professionals recognized and endorsed by the most respected associations in the world, in the field of hypnosis.” Traveling to three prominent cities in Mexico, the conference focuses on bringing hypnosis more fully into the traditional medical arena, through education and dialogue.

“I’m really honored to present at this highly acclaimed international conference and to share expertise in the growing field of medical hypnosis, and to bring back to the ChangeWorks practice knowledge from the other presenters, who are all at the top of their areas in the field of hypnosis.” Cindy’s topic is Medical Hypnosis, with a focus on natural childbirth, pre and post surgery hypnosis and pain control.

The conference is a great start to the fall teaching and speaking season for Cindy, with further classes coming up at the local college where she teaches as well as instruction in the use of hypnosis for healthcare professionals which will be taught at the Center in October and November 2012.
