Los Angeles, CA. June 5, 2012– New author Otis Jones has combined his love of children and multi-cultural issues to create a series of illustrated children’s books. He utilizes a traditional family with a mom, dad, sister, brother and his friends who are based on basic geometric shapes, colors and ethnicities, providing children with a learning tool about love, acceptance and harmony. His first book, “Geonopolis, The Shapely City of Geometry” which was originally self-published in 2003 is being reintroduced to print because of its popularity amongst young readers.

Children who begin their journey with Jeb soon discover the usual spots on the giraffe are replaced by colorful geometric shapes. Each of Jeb’s friends represents a geometric shape and color that is present on their bodies and each colorful friend is of a different cultural background.
