Borneo Eco Tours is pleased to announce they are offering a new community based ecotourism project that is perfect for all types of holidays. Located along the Kiulu River, the Kiulu Farmstay allows individuals, couples and families to stay in a natural, rustic ecolodge.

This new project was launched by YB Datum Joniston Bangkuai, Chairman of the Sabah Tourism Board and assemblyman of Kiulu district, on the 26th August 2015. It is a collaborative effort between community leaders, Borneo Eco Tours, BEST Society, Arkitrek and 12 volunteer Arkitrekkers from Malaysia, Australia, Spain and the United Kingdom. Visitors who book this tour will gain access to the farm, along with a number of natural activities, including swimming, biking and more.

Part of the proceeds of this tour offered by Borneo Eco Tours will go back to the local communities, including Kampung Mantob, Kampung Pinagon Baru and Kampung Dumpiring. In fact, the lodge was created with a combination of features constructed by these three local villages, such as patterned woven bamboo panels made by local artisans.
