The site compiles mixtapes allowing users to play at will. The majority of the website is powered by 8tracks.com a premier mixtape site, where users submit mixtapes consisting of 8 or more tracks. PrePartyPlaylist is diverse and covers a broad range of musical genres. Updates each week keeps the site consistent and keeps students and even non students coming back again and again.

The site has seen strong growth in the past two months from word of mouth. Little advertising has been done and the site is already getting over 100 users a day. The cult like site grows a following that is passionate about the brand. Music lovers from all over the world are now following the site on facebook. This month PrePartyPlaylist owner Brian Olson plans to categorize the site to make it easily navigational. No other big changes are planned as of yet.

Few know of the site yet, but word spreads daily. Videos are projected to be the next category the site uses to attract more users. Power Hour videos consisting of one hour of nonstop one minute music videos will further develop the college interaction.
