Riri is addicted to tattoos like what she said in an interview, “I am so intrigued by tattoos. It’s an entire culture, and I study it. Sometimes I go with friends, or just by myself. I get bum-rushed, but I don’t care. I don’t take security.”

The Egyptian Goddess Isis: A tattoo in memory of her grandmother

Rihanna got a new, large tattos as a tribute to her late grandmother in Sep. 2012. She posted to the Twitter and said:

“Goddess Isis- Complete Woman-Model for future generations #GRANGRANDOLLY -always in and on my heart.”

She tweeted with a picture of her new tattoo. It was the Egyptian goddess Isis Known as the goddess of the moon, she protected women and children and healed the sick. The tattoo of the ancient Egyptian goddess Isis looked like a throne from afar. Riri thought it a symbol of her granny, always giving her power and love.

A falcon and a handgun

“ A light that shines in the darkness! Never close their eyes during sleep.”

Rihanna covered up her old music notes with the first tattoo she ever wanted as a teen.

It looked like a falcon had been tattooed in a way look like a handgun. She saw it as a ray of light in the darkness, guiding her towards promising.

“Back in the day, they would carve into the walls and they would carve a falcon, because they didn’t have another way of saying a king in the sky.”

The star

This tattoo was inked in 2008 when she was with her ex. As one of the most visible and famous tattoos that Riri held, the star means she was trying to getting over the darkness of the breakup. it matched ex-boyfriend Chris Brown’s trio of stars behind his ear.

“Shhh”

In 2015, she posted her new tattoo on the social media, and wrote:

“The ‘shhh’ tattoo is many years old-done in one shot, no touch up needed. If you are thinking of getting you are finger tattooed and have heard they ‘fade’ or ‘fall out’ I’ll say, Yes, they can fade during the healing process-though if done properly, they can be great, and last a lifetime?”

This one is creative and ingenious. If you want somebody to shut up, just show the tattoo to him. Her fans and even other celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Lily Allen copied this tattoo.

Egyptian Queen Nefertiti

In Jan. 2012,Riri shared her new tattoo in a photoshoot--a bust of the ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti. She is one of the most beautiful, mysterious and powerful women in ancient Egypt. She encouraged women to get out of the oppression of their husbands or male superiors. She is the symbol of women’s power!
