An article of Carmel Monthly explained the great musical talent of Blair Clark in a mentoring role. His exceptional talent of vocal coaching is exhibited beautifully when he prepared his student Taylor Bickett for the most challenging role of Christine at his Carmel based Blair’s Voice & Performance Studio.

When Taylor met Blair, she began with little competitions and remained involved with the middle school musical. Later, she explored various music styles and grew exponentially with the help of his mentor.

She became a rocker girl after her performance of GodSpell with Blair Clark. After knowing about the Phantom, which was going to be held in Carmel in classical style, Blair worked hard to increase her range. He also helped improve her acting skills that enabled her to get her way to the cast.

Blair Clark is the former co-founder of Midwest School of Voice in Carmel, IN, which has been providing coaching and mentoring to vocalists of all ages, since 2005. Blair has been performing for more than 35 years and giving coaching for over 16 years. He enjoys both equally and is honored to have the chance to train future generations of performers. His students include recording artists Blake, LaTina, and Julia Kahn, along with Miss Indiana 2005 Susan Guilkey, Miss Indiana 2008 Megan Meadors, Miss Southern Heartland 2007 and fourth runner for Miss Indiana 2007 Roseanne Young, Miss Banks of the Wabash 2011 & Competitor for Miss Indiana 2011 Jeniece Fleming. Blair’s recent release is “Blair Clark Sings the Great American Song Book, Live at the Jazz Kitchen.”
