Live Oak Contracting, a Jacksonville contracting firm, plans to celebrate Arbor Day via a large-scale partnership with Greenscape. The firm will join Greenscape at the latter’s Tree Festival, a local event which will be made available to Jacksonville citizens at absolutely no cost. Those who attend will receive a young tree to plant anywhere they wish. The purpose of the festival is to encourage the spread of valuable greenery across the Jacksonville area, as well as help its residents to learn why plants and trees are so necessary to the environment around them.

Live Oak Contracting has done their part in making the Greenscape Tree Festival happen by donating trees for the cause. The number of trees the firm has donated totals to more than 1,000. When asked about their partnership with Greenscape, Paul Bertozzi, Live Oak Contracting CEO and president, expressed amazement at the notion that “the trees that are planted through the Greenscape Tree Festival are going to be a part of the community for many decades.” He went on to state his desire for all of the trees planted as a result of the festival’s work will thrive and grow within the community, alongside the numerous contracting projects the firm has constructed over the years.

Live Oak’s partnership with Greenscape is not the only act of service they’ve lent to their community. This year’s festival will take place on April 6 at the Jessie Ball DuPont Park, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
