Unlike other awards, the GETAs25 is designed to champion achievements in education and EdTech – free from commercial bias, inflated entry fees or expensive awards ceremony tickets.

Accredited by The Independent Awards Standards Council and supported by EdTech New Zealand, EdTech France and EdTech Ireland, the awards celebrate achievements from across the globe.

The GETAs operate a level playing field where entries are judged on impact rather than marketing power. Every submission is anonymised to guarantee fairness and all entrants receive constructive feedback. This ensures the awards have real value and contribute to sector-wide development.

"These awards are different because they reflect what truly matters in education – impact, integrity and innovation," said Mark Anderson, co-founder of GETAs25. "We created the GETAs to ensure that those making the biggest difference in education and EdTech get the recognition they deserve, without the barriers that can present with other awards."


Award categories

The GETAs25 will honour outstanding contributions across three key areas:

🏫 Schools awards – Recognising exceptional leadership, teaching and innovation in schools, including categories for the most impactful educators and best AI implementation in education.

💡 EdTech awards – Celebrating cutting-edge products, tools and companies making a tangible difference in teaching and learning.

🌟 Lifetime Achievement Award – Honouring individuals who have made a long-term, transformative impact in the education or EdTech sectors.

The GETAs will once again be judged by an esteemed panel of world-leading education and EdTech experts. Judges will be announced over the coming weeks, reinforcing the awards’ commitment to integrity, transparency and sector-wide impact.

Call for nominations
