Avis Budget Group Inc., one of the largest car rental companies in the world, handed the keys to a vehicle during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic without ever cleaning or sanitizing the vehicle exposing the renter to the virus. "I was stunned and appalled to realize that I was in a rental vehicle exposed to the coronavirus," states Len Bledsoe. "I rented the vehicle at a time when unfortunately, hospitalizations and the national death rate from Covid were very high. There also was not a vaccine at this time. It was very scary."

Bledsoe says that he contacted Avis but has not received an adequate resolution. "I am not even sure that Avis or their representatives apologized. I will be taking legal action against Avis.
