A Fresh Chance For The Often Scattered Black Community To Come Together for Good

Blacks United, a relatively new African American Association in USA, formed in the shadow of the #BlackLivesMatter movement, has issued the call to unite Black Americans across the country, through its new community forum, and share awareness.

16th December 2021, New York: The African American community of the USA, the past, has been the target of racial segregation, due to which cracks have spread through the fabric of this community, and several organizations have worked tirelessly to unite the fragments of this community through forums, articles, call-outs but the audience is often limited.

“At Blacks United, we are your central point for Black Unity,” says Chris Dawkins, Founder of Blacks United and owner of Chrisco. But, according to an article entitled “Modern in Approach but divided in identity,” he also added that the Black community has suffered from “quite a loss of identity over the years.”

At Blacks United, we are launching a wider community and calling out to a larger audience to join and share their views and opinions about the issues happening in the world today. For just $10 per year, members would have access to videos, articles, book recommendations, etc., and the platform to share their opinions and consider others’ views as well.

Chris Dawkins said, “We are a place for Black people to come regardless of what you call yourself,” and Blacks united has held true to this in all their interactions. The community is open to all who are a part of or empathize with the community and the issues that they are going through.

As money is not an issue within the Black community, evidenced by $1.3-trillion accrued in accumulated spending power, the community as a whole should be in a much better economic position than it is now. Yet, this is not the case, as evidenced by the $28,000 difference in median-adjusted income for households between Black and White Americans. Therefore, a new, more comprehensive community platform with its larger reach would help to bridge this gap and help the community, as a whole, progress forward.

This platform would also enable members of other communities worldwide to be up-to-date with all the latest happenings and be an active part in any responses that the Black community decides to make.
