The famous book written by Mr Jairam Ramesh is going to be organized in Birla Academy of The Art Museum. The organization takes great pleasure to announce the event.
What we are hoping to do is engage with as many young people as possible; let them come and listen to him (Jairam Ramesh) speak, ask questions of him when he arrives on Wednesday evening, that's our hope in the first place. The second thing is: if Mr Jairam Ramesh has written a book titled 'Narendra Modi…' it can't be just for the oldies like me who were around during your tenure at Delhi or maybe even earlier. It must be for the young people of this country. And how do you reach them?
We are going to open up the Birla Art museum at two in the afternoon and we will make that into a place for rally, a kind of political campaign trail where he will speak to an audience made up entirely of young people and then he will take questions because that's what they want to talk about.
I think that both those things are attractive to him (Jairam Ramesh). He wants to tell his story not just as a politician but also about why he sat down with Narendra Modi in 2001 when Mr Modi was not particularly popular and why did it happen again in 2013?
We are really hoping that he will be very candid and speak freely. I don't think there's any other way to do it because if you keep these things bottled up they become less than what they could have been. I hope it works well. It is a part of an ongoing process that we started about three-and-a-half years ago
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
