Binyamin Rothstein is an osteopathic physician focusing on sports injuries and the Art of Healing

Binyamin Rothstein is a Master Osteopath who is resuming his medical practice in the United States after four years practicing in Israel. He has thirty-five years of experience, and specializes in ADHD and acute and chronic pain.

A 1981 graduate of the University of Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, his new practice is based in Philadelphia. “It will be about sports injuries,” he said.

Dr. Rothstein is also launching a series of workshops, lectures and seminars on the Art of Healing. “I will be sharing innovative techniques and approaches for the treatment of chronic fatigue and chronic pain, reaching out to the lay public and healthcare professionals to create awareness and knowledge of the healing arts.” That, he explained, means “how a chronic disease should be approached and how to understand a disease, e.g. hypertension; arthritis; autoimmune diseases; Irritable Bowel Syndrome; Inflammatory Bowel Disease; cancer; strokes and pain.”

In addition, he’ll discuss the practical application of epigenetics, which he said means changing one’s environment to alter genetic expression. “I will be available for lectures, seminars, workshops, and as a keynote speaker.”

Binyamin Rothstein served in the United States Army as a physician for three years, and was in private practice in Baltimore for 20 years. He is the author of Brain Fog, a 2005 book describing the human brain and how to keep it fit and functional for a lifetime. “I have a wealth of experience from over thirty years of exploring the art of healing.”

As an osteopath, Dr. Rothstein views prescription medicine and surgery as a last resort. “Osteopathic philosophy is really all about enabling the person’s body to heal itself by creating balance, primarily by using the ten fingers of our body, and using our mind’s eye and our heart to understand, to feel, to palpate, to treat and to balance.”

During his years in practice, Binyamin Rothstein has built a loyal following, such as a patient who suffered migraine headaches for several years. “I had to take medications every day in order to function,” she recalled. “Sometime the medications didn’t help...I was skeptical about Osteopathic treatment since I believe only in conventional medicine, but after treatment with Dr. Rothstein, the migraines stopped. It was like a miracle.”
