Weight Loss truth: skipping meals may actually lead you to gain weight! It will become very hungry and will eventually have to eat. This hit your metabolism you on track and will slow it down in the end. Think of a car running out of gas on the (food), if you do not fill it up, it will stop working at the end. The same goes for our body, and we need to keep constantly fueled.

Weight Loss truth: a person can say I do not deny that there may be a tendency for parents and heavy mothers to raise children who will remain a heavy burden throughout their lives, but I do not think that there is actually a "fat" genes or DNA there. What we do to inherit from our family, primarily those who raised us directly, views and beliefs. And based on your views about food, money, religion, politics, education, etc. on how you were raised. If you are raised in a home where the primary foods and meals cooked food where fried, then they may have a tendency to continue cooking and eating fried foods throughout your life. If this is the case then you may be a little heavy around the waist. Easy thing to do is blame on those who were responsible for your education, but you always have the option to change.
