Serving as the general contractor of the new kitchens, Betty G Mackie has designed and overseen five home renovations. Besides, she worked closely with the interior designers and owners to choose paint colors, fixtures and countertops, close cabinets and hardware. She also interacted with various contractors to supervise their work and to keep them on budget and time. Betty worked on choosing the décor for the house, thus keeping with the coastal theme. Apart from all, Betty was also responsible for overseeing the door spaces with the sub contractors. She made her best efforts to design and implement the landscapes.

Adding more to her skills, Betty G Mackie has been designing amazing beach tables and beachwear for BeacheTable.com since 2007. Betty G Mackie is married to Chris, who is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant. She has attended North Carolina State University and she is a UNC Charlotte graduate in English literature. Later, to pursue her degree in Liberal Arts, she went to East Tennessee State University (ETSU). She is also associated with Susan G. Komen, which is a Breast Cancer Foundation.
