London, UK – EMILY LANDIS WALKER has joined digital asset trading firm Bequant as Board Advisor. Previously Executive Secretary to US Treasury Secretary Nicolas Brady and US Representative at the IMF, she will represent Bequant globally and promote the firm’s products among the financial industry.
Emily served as Head of Corporate Affairs for Barclays Global Retail and Commercial Bank (GRCB) based in London. Prior to that post, Emily spent 15 years with Citibank/Citigroup as a Managing Director in Emerging Markets Corporate Banking, Retail and Institutional Asset Management.
She will also use her regulatory know how to advise the company on its affairs with large trading houses and corporations, making sure its digital asset trading services are in full compliance with international standards.
“I am delighted to join the team and contribute to digital asset adaptation, utilizing my global expertise in the compliance and regulatory space” she commented.
