Luanda, Angola – In a tribute to the former Head of State José Eduardo dos Santos, politician and member of the MPLA Provincial Committee, Bento Kangamba, expressed his gratitude and highlighted the impact that the late leader had on his formation as a politician.
José Eduardo dos Santos was the person who made me the politician I am today,” said Kangamba. He also shared advice that the Emeritus President gave him, “One day you will be a great politician if you listen to what the elders say.”
Bento dos SantosKangamba stressed the importance of Angolans uniting, emphasizing the need for peace, unity, and concord in the country. He also thanked the government for the tribute to the Emeritus President of the party.
It is a good tribute, and I thank the government, the political parties, and urge everyone not to take advantage of the death of a great leader,” said Kangamba. “The testimony of José Eduardo dos Santos is peace, unity, and concord, and I hope that this continues in the country.”
Bento Kangamba has been actively engaged in various initiatives aimed at promoting social welfare in Angola. He recently donated 26 tons of medication to the Sumbe Hospital, in addition to providing essential goods to the local population.
