Clinical Research although in existence for long can still be considered to be in its nascent stages based on the scope and the ever increasing demand for the professionals in the field. A medical science professional that has the required qualification and experience in the field will be able to find job in a number of fields. Careers in Clinical research include work in most of the major pharmacy companies as they are the one who are investing millions of dollar in their research and development. It is in fact their need to do so as they have to come up with new medicines and methods to sustain their position in market share in the multi-million dollar pharmacy industry.

Apart from pharmacy companies Clinical research also include positions available in all the major hospitals as most of the major hospitals have a separate department with big budget as they also want to be the first one in bringing out and using the latest technology in health care services. Next major industry to recruit clinical research experts is KPO as most of the major KPOs have healthcare projects and they have an ever ending demand for such professionals. Clinical research is a field which is even attracting Medicine graduates.

Many of the clinical research institutes are offering various Post Graduate courses for Medicine graduates. They have an option to do a post graduate diploma or an M. Sc in clinical research or MBA in health care management from clinical research institutes and it increases their horizon and field of expertise. They can also opt for a PhD in clinical research also through which they can also make themselves available for higher positions in clinical Research division of the hospitals. Career opportunities in the clinical research are huge as most of the pharmacy companies, major hospitals and KPOs are themselves associated with these premier institutes to provide correct exposure to the candidates and also hire the suitable candidates directly from the campus.

One can find so many opportunities in clinical research careers as it is one the fastest growing industry in India which might even overtake the IT industry in few years. There are many reasons why India is being favoured by most of the companies to do clinical research as in India they can find a large number of patients base agreeing to such trials as it saves them the cost of medication. Other thing favoring India is the large number of medical professionals and trainees available to conduct such research and thirdly, it is a Good infrastructure available in India in medical field thus making India a Hotspot for clinical research and providing ever ending opportunity to clinical research professionals.

Today all the clinical trials are conducted with complete medical ethics and transparency thus it can be considered as safe and secure future. Also there seems to be no end to this as all the pharmacy companies and hospitals want to make a niche for themselves by claiming to bring a technology first in the ever growing market of Medical Sciences.
