Richmond Hill, October 2019 - Jian Bing Club has opened its doors in Richmond Hill to serve up popular Chinese street food. While there have been variations of Jian Bing served up by local Chinese supermarkets and small stalls, Jian Bing Club is one of the first shops in the GTA that specialize in Jian Bing; which is a made-to-order, Chinese style savoury crepe that can be filled with many different types of toppings. Also available are items such as grilled cold noodles, specialty drinks made from fresh milk and soy milk and beef wonton soup, which is quite unique since wontons are usually made from pork or shrimp.

The owners of Jian Bing Club not only have the desire to serve up Jian Bing to the local area, but they also have a heart to showcase Chinese culture through cuisine as evidenced by the artwork on the walls which illustrate daily life on the streets of Beijing; where students would stop by the local street food stall and pick up some Jian Bing to enjoy on the way to school.

Currently in their soft opening phase, the grand opening is set for Saturday November 9th, 2019. As one of the most popular street foods in China, Jian Bing has made it’s way across the world and it’s now time for Toronto and the GTA to join the Jian Bing Club and enjoy the Jian Bing experience!
