She could join the girl band after the audition held by SM Entertainment that formed the girl band. The contest was held in LA at 2004 and she joined the company from then and moves to Korea. Besides singing with Girl’s Generation, she also released solo singles such as “By Myself”, “Ring”, and “Because It’s You”. She also acted in Korean Drama and hosted TV Shows.

As she became an artist, her appearance was transformed from ordinary girl to popular beautiful girl with all styles and make up on her body. The fans love her so much but some people said that she have plastic surgery to reach her current beauty. Despite all controversy about her beauty background, she is beautiful for real.
