With the closure of California Youth Authority facility in Camarillo, many talented workers have been left jobless and in search of the next step in their careers. Originally 93 affected workers, 45 are remaining and using the Workforce Development Board of Ventura County to find local jobs.

One of the key Business Solutions the WDB offers is working to help reunite and relocate workers with employers who have available jobs and to help them find a valuable team member.

Clerical and administrative staff
Teachers and instructional assistants
Kitchen staff, line cooks, and food servers
Custodial staff
Groundskeepers and maintenance workers
