Pacific Cash for Cars, one of the major players in the used car buying industry in Sydney are preparing for a busy summer season, with the number of vehicles offered for sale increasing as the weather warms up.

The owner of Pacific Cash for Cars had this to say when we spoke to him on site at their new yard: “People start spending more time outside as the weather improves and gets warmer. What we find is that they’ve had the car or truck sitting there over winter and when it comes time to spend more time outdoors, they just want it gone.

“That’s where our team comes in. We offer them a price for the vehicle and arrange a time to pick it up. From there, our drivers go out and pick it up and pay them the arranged price. It’s a fairly simple process but it works really well and the customers are always happy to be able to get rid of their vehicles so easily.”

On a particularly warm Saturday in spring, the Pacific teams were inundated with calls for car removals and we went along to a pickup with one of their drivers. When we got there, the seller of the car had this to say: “We’ve had this Toyota in the driveway for about a year and I’ve been meaning to either fix it or sell it. I suppose I’ve been a bit sentimental and should’ve really got rid of it a lot sooner. I came out to mow the grass between the concrete strips and realized that it needed to go. So, I called a few car wreckers and these guys offered the best price for it.”

The team plan to expand their operations to cover more of New South Wales and increase their marketing efforts to work on bringing new traffic to the website and more enquiries through the business.
