New generation cookery school L’atelier des Chefs’ Gourmet Gift Cards are perfect for treating dads this Father’s Day as prices start from just £15 and they are redeemable against both cooking classes and cooking equipment.

L’atelier des Chefs was founded to inspire and reinvigorate the nation’s love of cooking so that everyone can enjoy delicious yet simple food every day. Whether your Dad is the next Masterchef winner or completely inexperienced, L’atelier des Chefs has a class to suit.

There are eight different class types available, from the £15 Cook, Eat and Run class; a 30 minute lunchtime cooking session that teaches one delicious main course that is then eaten on site in the dining room, to a four hour Masterclass; where a spectacular four course menu is created from scratch for £144 per person.
After each class the recipe will be emailed so that dads can recreate the dish for family and friends at home.

Cookery classes are designed according to constantly evolving themes with more than 2,000 recipes that reflect the changing seasons, culinary trends and different cuisines and skills. Popular options include Knife Skills, Best of British and Al Fresco.

During a Knife Skills class a professional chef will impart students with the knowledge of how to remove breasts, thighs and drumsticks from a whole chicken or duck; unlocking a repertoire of tasty and reasonably priced dishes that can be cooked at home and some impressive skills as well. A Knife Skills class is also a great opportunity to try before you buy, with all of the equipment used available for purchase in the in-site retail store.

With the Diamond Jubilee on the horizon and the promise of street parties and every dad’s favourite, the barbeque, L’atelier des Chefs Best of British and Al Fresco dining classes are also sure to be popular. In the Seasonal British Classics All About class (a two hour evening or weekend class for £72 per person) for example, students would learn to make a great summery canapé such as pea and mint shooters, a selection of mains and sides ideal for barbeques and street parties eg roasted vegetable and lentil salad with a spicy tomato dressing and lamb cutlets with carrot and cumin puree, buttered salsify and parsley oil.

Tom McNeile, Managing Director at L’atelier des Chefs says: “The L’atelier des Chefs Gourmet Gift Card gives every father the opportunity to improve his cooking skills and learn a selection of fantastic everyday recipes that the whole family can then enjoy at home.”

Treat your dad to the gift of good cooking with a L’atelier des Chefs Gourmet Gift Card this Father’s Day.
