Zalaxy dot com Seeks to Disrupt Rental Industry with Peer to Peer Rental Service

Zalaxy seeks to disrupt the existing rental industry by allowing consumers to rent almost anything to each other.

San Antonio, TX, September 19, 2013 -- Zalaxy.com is a new service that lets consumers rent their personal belongings to others in their community.

When most people think of rental services, they think of a large corporate rental yards or small regional companies offering construction equipment. Joel Griffiths, Zalaxy Inc’s founder thought this was too narrow a scope for both type and availability of items. Zalaxy.com is betting on consumers having something their willing to rent. Their tagline, “What’s in You Garage?” speaks to that. “Everybody has something of value that they no longer use or that they use irregularly. Our job is to get people to start looking for those things,” says Joel.

Due to the current Rental Yard mentality, Zalaxy.com faces a two-pronged battle because it not only needs to convince consumers to rent their beloved items, it needs to inform consumers that there are alternatives to marinas, rental yards, airport car rental counters, and music stores. Despite these difficulties, Zalaxy is determined to make an impact in the rental industry.
