Two New Panels for Entertainment & Media Professionals at LA Conference

The panel on software-defined systems will provide attendees at the 2014 Creative Storage Conference with insights into multiple storage technologies.

 
San Jose, CA, June 13, 2014 -- The 2014 Creative Storage Conference (SM) (CS 2014) on June 24 2014 in Culver City, CA at the DoubleTree Hotel West Los Angeles includes two exciting panel discussions. The first panel will discuss the future of content delivery and the second panel addresses software defined systems for media and entertainment professional applications.

The first session, titled "Trekking to the Clouds: Looking to the Future of Content Delivery—wired, wireless, second screen and satellite," will be moderated by Marty Shindler of the Shindler Perspective. This panel will look into the future and envision content transport up to 15 years from now. The panelists include Michelle Munson of Aspera; Eric Markow of Bel Air Internet; Nathan Carman of Exelis, and Don Gabriel from EchoStar.

The title of the second session, "Software Defined Systems for Professional Media," will be moderated by Steven B. Cohen of the Daystrom Technology Group. The panelists include James Heliker, QFOUNDRY; Guillaume Aubuchon, Digital Film Tree; Scott Rupple, Jeda Networks; Warren Belkin, Arista; and Nelson Nahum, Zadara. The panelists will debate the "state of readiness" for Software-Defined technologies and deployments, and discuss if "the machines are ready to program the machines."

The 8th Annual CS 2014 brings together digital storage providers, equipment and software manufacturers, and professional media and entertainment end users to explore the conference theme of “Collaborative Workflows and Storage Objects”.
