Bend, OR, USA, February 25, 2015 -- A team of technology industry veterans has just unveiled the Tut App – a free mobile messaging app for Android that gives users an entirely new way to interact with each other. Tut is a fast, fun and totally customizable way for users to quickly put messages together using photos, words, often-used phrases, stickers, and emojis, then send them via any messaging or email app. Tut leapfrogs over current text messaging and emoji apps by making it possible to quickly organize and access more than 4,000 images with just a few touches on Tut’s graphic keyboard.

“The idea for Tut occurred to me as I was watching my wife texting with her 19-year-old daughter who is a student in Thailand. It was a slow process as they were switching back and forth between their texting apps and searching for photos in their camera gallery,” said Ray Lundy, Tut’s Chief Hieroglyphics Officer. “I thought ‘there has to be a better and more fun way to do it.’ Emojis and stickers only go so far. With Tut, they can now communicate very quickly in a visually appealing new way.”

Cool Features:

- Tut “glyphs” (King Tut’s hieroglyphics) – keys for picking photos, words, often-used phrases, stickers, and emojis, all in one touch. Also works with regular text.
- Customization – Tut’s Plus button quickly adds images from the user's gallery (personal or downloaded). Take pictures of friends, places and favorite items. Combine these with often used phrases to make personal messages. For example, “He loves mom” can be made by touching the word “He” then an emoji of “loves” and then a photo of mom.
- The Tut Pyramid – uses folders in a whole new way to quickly organize and access more than 4,000 images in just three touches.
- Compatibility – once the Tut Message is assembled it can be sent from email, text or any messaging app (WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, LINE, WeChat and others)
- Globalization – sending images rather than words links countries and languages - use any language to name images. Tut can even help with learning and teaching new languages.
- Organization – create and name folders to organize glyphs, to get to them quickly. For example, a folder titled “People” with one inside it named “Friends” or “Family.”

Tut is now available for free on Google Play. Photo and sticker packs are also available as in-app purchases.
